A New Beginning

As I wake up, the sun rises
I think to myself today is a new beginning
With each passing minute, my soul is renewed
No longer do I wish for this refreshment
I no longer need a new map to find my way
Today, I take a step forward
No steps in the past will be taken
Only what to be seen in the future is what i follow
I look ahead
Only to see what can be
What will be
My face is glowing
The sun makes it sparkle with its delight
I take a deep breathe
Each breathe I take is a renewal of my strength
Each day that passes by, I renew this ability
My ability to be be able to step forward
Not allowing any little rock to make me tumble
I take a step forward
I look into the mirror
And Smile
Because I know, it's a new beginning
